Pelosi: ‘All Americans Ask What the Russians Have on Trump, Politically, Personally or Financially’

(CNSNews.com) - House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D.-Calif.), whom her Democratic colleagues have nominated to become speaker of the House in January when their party takes over control of the House, said in a statement on Thursday after President Donald Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen pled guilty to lying to Congress that Trump’s “inner circle” has “brazenly lied and covered up the truth.”

“This guilty plea provides additional documented proof that President Trump’s inner circle has brazenly lied and covered up the truth to protect the President,” said Pelosi. “This desperate dishonesty makes all Americans ask what the Russians have on Trump, politically, personally or financially.”

“Donald J. Trump was more involved in discussions over a potential Russian business deal during the presidential campaign than previously known, his former lawyer Michael D. Cohen said Thursday in pleading guilty to lying to Congress,” the New York Times reported today.
