Nov. 28 (UPI) -- Authorities in New York state said they are trying to find the owner of an abandoned suitcase found to contain $1.3 million worth of cocaine.

The packages were found to contain a total of more than 100 pounds of cocaine.

I better give them a call. I think I misplaced that suitcase the other day. I hope it didn't get damaged.

BTW,it just occurred to me that no one seems to be asking how a suitcase full of coke got there to start with? That's not the sort of thing you just walk though customs carrying.

I am guessing there are some pilots and flight crews that are being looked at VERY closely this week.

@Dexter

I'm going to go out on  a limb here and say the typical $20-$25 per hour TSA Agent is going to arrest you for offering him a few grand to risk losing his job and going to a federal prison for 20 + years or a drug distribution conspiracy conviction.

BTW,I worked with a guy that had a night job as a baggage handler at a small airport maybe 15-20 years ago,and he was getting paid 20 bucks per hour back then,and he was just a baggage handler.

What if you worked the TSA for a while to figure out who would do it for a few million? It's obviously an ongoing thing. Somebody at the airport is working for them.
