Call me cynical. Call me whatever you want to. But I do believe that these crazy grants to countries which HATE us serve the Congressmen that vote for them. That is, through whatever and however means, through 12 levels of misdirection, somehow, some way, a percentage of that money makes it back to D.C. into the pockets of the politicians who approved it. That's the only way it makes any sense. Otherwise, it is simply insanity.

Methinks that John (the muslim convert) Brennan at the CIA had a lot to do with that.
And that's just why he held that position!

There was also the Iranian Jarrett involved as well. So if Israel had operatives in Iran, they could never tell Obama anything about it. Also, there was Hillary sending extremely classified information about foreign intelligence over gmail. The entire Obama administration was a security nightmare. And like you say, Obama wanted it that way. He said something once, I cannot remember the specifics, but he said something to the effect that America is so much more powerful than the Muslims, that it is 'racist' or something, to withhold our intelligence from them. It was something along the lines of, they have a right to know what we know, or something like that. Israel wanted nothing to do with the Loony Tunes under Obama. It was way too dangerous.

Still fake news to me. This is nothing current and perhaps did not even happen.

Well there's plenty of news about it in the last three days.

But hey please feel free to back up your assertion.

Rand has a long history of calling to end foreign aid to Israel and other countries.  Why would that change now?

Stormfront is loving what Rand is doing though.   *****rollingeyes*****

No doubt that brain trust is as happy as maggots on a gut wagon.

As for the the equally giddy here, if criticism of Trump makes one pro-Hillary, then criticism of Israel makes one . . .

Stormfront thinks that Trump can't agree with Rand because he needs the Evangelical support.

$50 Billion in foreign aid vs $350 Billion in welfare payments.  I know which I would rather see cut.
The problem with your proposal is that welfare recipients vote in our elections. Foreign countries don't.

Plus, everyone who claims to care about welfare seems to think that the welfare they get doesn't count (see: socialist security).

All true, except that people have been forced to pay in to Social Security from their own pay checks and through their employer at reduced salary for a very long time now.  It's their own money they think they should be getting back, and they should if they've been forced to give it up to begin with.

Maybe because they are the only democracy surrounded by a region of despots?

Oh and BTW...Israel gets less in foreign aid than Afghanistan...and only slightly more than Egypt and the groups of terrorists known as the Palestinian Authority who have vowed to wipe Israel off the map.

If we're gonna stop aid to anyone first and foremost it should be to the Palestinians.

Senator Paul placed the hold on the wrong money.  But that's just his daddy's anti Jew underpinnings shining through IMO.
