Democrats are still picking up seats in California that are currently held by Republicans seven days after the midterm elections.

The Associated Press Tuesday called the election in the state's 10th Congressional District for Democrat Josh Harder with 51.31 percent of the vote, flipping yet another California seat blue.

Incumbent Republican Rep. Dana Rohrabacher lost his House seat to Democratic challenger Harley Rouda in the 48th, the AP called over the weekend.

A full week after the election, Democrats could still flip two more seats in California, making the new Democrat majority in Congress even larger.

The Associated Press has yet to call California’s 39th and 45th districts as votes are being tallied, and Republican Young Kim is still leading in the 39th district with 50.2 percent of the vote.

As votes are being counted and finalized, however, the margin has slimmed in favor of Democratic challenger Gil Cisneros in the district that includes parts of Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Bernardino.

Democratic candidate Katie Porter recently pulled ahead of Republican challenger Mimi Walters in the 45th District, which is mostly in Orange County. Porter holds 50.1 percent of the vote, which is only a 0.11-point margin in the still-too-close-to-call race.

Orange County is historically a red county, but has become more purple with the recent influx of Asian and Latino voters.

with such a deep shade of blue in California, exactly why would the National Republicans wish to have a representative from California leading them anyway?

The state is lost and will become even worse a nightmare to elect Republicans as it accelerates voting my illegals.

Cali is what you get when you allow millions upon millions of illegals in. Cali is lost since Cali allows
illegals to vote. And now that the House is in the hands of the Marxist Democrats I fear the county
is lost too. Thanks a lot George W Bush you worthless POS.

Yeah. Obviously more signs of a Trump backlash. No. Wait. These Cali districts are now flooded with illegals?
