  • Ah, the air is so much fresher here...

A judge has ordered the election supervisor in Florida’s second-most populous county to change the way she handles vote-by-mail absentee ballots after the Republican Party sued her for not following the law.

The declaratory injunction, ordered Friday, prevents Broward County Election Supervisor Brenda Snipes from opening the mail-in ballots in secret or before the county’s three-member Canvassing Board meets to determine the ballots’ validity. The board can begin meeting Monday to handle absentee ballots, more than 75,000 of which have been cast in Broward ahead of the Aug. 28 primaries.

She's already been in trouble in 2016 for destroying ballots and was supposed to have monitors assigned to her office to watch how they count the votes this year.

All of these absentee ballots were supposed to IIRC been counted within a couple hours of the polls closing...and there are still two full bins of ballots from a pic I saw that they haven't counted.

The two elections here and the one in Arizona are a Minnesota redo of how they kept recounting and finding votes until Franken won his seat.

Drip...drip...drip...

Note the date here folks, this story is about the primaries.

Good background, but it's not a ruling on the current fiasco.

And likewise in 2004 in Washington, and 2009 in New York. Recounts always, somehow, mysteriously, favor the Democrat, never the Republican.

So if I have added this thing up properly.....

1) The vote count cannot go past 30 hours of the close of polls by FL law.

2) This elections supervisor must have outside canvasers present while the counting of these irregular votes takes place.

3) This elections supervisor has been caught in recent years corrupting a federally mandated vote.

Just this alone should have this thing on everyone's radar including the FL GOP, the RNC, the Justice Dept and the FEC.

And what's really insane is why does someone with a history of cheating get to be a SUPERVISOR OF THE VOTE COUNTING AT ALL!

If it's like PA it's an elected position. Obviously the creeps, Commies and ne'er do wells in this area support this style of corruption. It doesn't mean that the govt' doesn't have a right to shadow the shit out of her all through the vote count.

It’s a wonder any voter can trust a government official to properly account for votes and the registration process.

Yes, it's an elected position.

That's where most of the worlds corruption starts.

This kind of BS plays into the Progressives hands...if enough people stay at home on election day because they believe their vote won't count due to the asshattery that's going on in Florida and Arizona...they won't vote and the Progressives will and suddenly we've got our Liberal "Utopia".
