Lindsey Graham: “The bottom line is that the conservative judicial train will keep running — we had a good night in the Senate.”

Agree, Lindsey.  But you're going to be doing a helluva lot more than that.

Looks like votes from Palm Beach county are still being counted.

9 precincts remaining and they're all in PBC.

The Upshot’s model shows Scott at only about 60 percent to win, and the ABC News Decision Desk isn’t going to call the race tonight, from what I understand. Maybe Scott has access to better data, but it looks a bit dubious to declare victory at this point.

Fox New header is now saying Scott defeated Nelson who held his seat for the past 18 years.

Iowa Governor

Reynolds Projected Winner

GOP - Reynolds 49.3% 632,460
Dem - Hubbell 47.1% 604,284

est. 99% in
updated 12:07 am ET, Nov. 7

It's official. Only Grundy and Ringgold counties are out and they are GOP. And my county, Lee, which used to go 3-to-1 Dem, only had her down 3%. Never thought I'd live to see that.

Who cares. Nate is an effing fraud. He is making shit up to look important. This just marks another election in a long line of elections he blew.

Sounds like you are happy the Dems took the House????
Not at all.  The vote didn't matter to me, other than how the tribes will realign to keep power.  You're not gonna stop hating your fellow Americans in the other tribe.  I'm only speculating on how the end comes.

No... actually, numerically on votes, Governor Walker has climbed into the lead with around 85% of the precincts reporting, still 49% each....

Evers   1,102,326    49%
Walker 1,102,504    49%

So, that seems to be using round figures a current 180 vote lead for Governor Walker.

Say a little prayer, losing all night..... who knows what the remainder of votes are to be? Keep it up Walker.

My prediction was half right and thankfully, the important half.  This Democrat House won't get a damned thing past the HEAVILY REPUBLICAN SENATE.

Hate to say it, but this is the price the Republican Congress pays for being semi-useless for 2 years and not funding Trump's wall.  I blame that jackass Ryan.  Good riddance.  Ride out the next 2 years, take it back in 2020 after America remembers what idiots Democrats are.

Democrats suck.  And now, for the next two years, they get to remind everyone exactly how much.\

If you were moving chess pieces around for a winning 2020 Presidential reelection run, this is what it would look like.

ME-2 will be interesting, with their new ranked choice voting method.  If the Democrat loses ground and there's no majority winner, then the Independent will be eliminated, and the second choices will be tallied...which could be interesting.

https://wgme.com/news/vote-2018/ranked-choice-voting-to-be-used-in-3-races-in-maine

Unfortunately, this one is likely to flip from GOP to DEM.

Currently:

Janet Mills  DEM    179,525    50.2%
Shawn Moody  REP    156,009    43.6%
Terry Hayes  IND     22,184     6.2%

I'm holding my breath on CA-48.  Dana Rohrabacher is in trouble there.

He stated the belief, that a home seller should be able to refuse selling to homosexuals.

That of course pleases "ultra right religious types."  OTOH the US has had civil rights laws since the 1860s, and "fair housing" laws since the 1960s.

I believe the real estate industry withdrew their endorsement off him.

So if he loses, it will be for a bonehead political unforced error.
