Wow, House almost HALF done and Democrats ONLY +2.

Meanwhile, we have the Foxes calling the entire House for the Rats?  Are they expecting a run of the table in Cali?

No blue wave.
AG William Barr: "I'm recused from that matter because one of the law firms that represented Epstein long ago was a firm that I subsequently joined for a period of time."

Alexander Acosta Labor Secretary resigned under pressure concerning his "sweetheart deal" with Jeffrey Epstein.  He was under consideration for AG after Sessions was removed, but was forced to resign instead.

Seriously, is anyone surprised that the GOP lost the House?  Ryan announced his exist long ago; that was clue #1.  They failed to repeal Bammycare and they FAILED to budget the wall.

Don't be surprised if they lose the Senate as well.

They failed to budget the wall?

They failed to budget ANYTHING!

I don't believe there's been a budget from congress since the Democrats took congress in 2009. A constitutional duty...

That's pathetic.

Average win for opposing party in midterms, since WW2, is 30, so it shouldn't be a surprise. I think like always there was a lot of wishful thinking, buoyed by some actual motivation of the base by the attempted take-down of Kavanaugh.

Nope.  And yet, there they are, calling it.  I expect the AZ Senate race to take a week to call.

Thanks for the link. It's mostly early voting. Please God, return Cruz to the Senate.

Shades of the 2000 early call for Gore.

We have many of the Rs still ahead in their House races, and NO projection whatsoever that Ds can win without all of those.

Are you suggesting the Dems are taking the House because Trump supporters were turned off by lack of progress on those issues? By all reports, Republican turnout has been good. I think what's actually happened is the media has been successful in its propaganda campaign against Trump and Republicans.

FL way too close to call. 93% precincts reporting.  DeSantis up 1% by only 96,806....Scott and Nelson in dead heat - - Scott ahead by only 75,338.  Probably we won't know because of recounts.

Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

The only positive would be the republicans being so flipping mad after two years of torture that there will be retribution in 2020.

The democrats will be totally unmasked and unhinged.  We'll have a red firewall in the Senate, the President's veto pen and we'll be packing the courts.

If this turns out as I suspect it will, Democrats should enjoy tonight.  Come 2020 their party is over.  For a generation.

I guess so.  Its pretty depressing.  I just got back from voting and they apparently don't even consider us.

Kobach is 12 points down with 41% of the votes in.  Watkins KS-2 and Yoder KS-3 are taking beatings, as well.  Not a good sign in a state Trump carried by 21 points.

Sorry, it does suck.  I saw the numbers and I said they must like Chicago politics.  They must enjoy failed government.  They really must love the Chicago desperation.
