Indiana GOP drops NRA president Oliver North as speaker in Noblesville, site of May school shooting

NRA President Oliver North won’t speak at a GOP event in Noblesville today as scheduled because it would have been "the wrong place and wrong time," said Indiana Republican Party chairman Kyle Hupfer.

Noblesville Mayor John Ditslear agreed with that assessment, saying he didn't believe the community had healed enough from a school shooting in May to have a "pro-gun speech."

The Republican mayor said he didn't know of North's scheduled appearance in advance. He noted he is a supporter of the Second Amendment.

I don't think this is against Col. North per se. As said, perhaps they don't think it's the right time.

From what I see, the hero teacher, Jeffrey Seaman and the 13 year old student, Ella Whistler were both shot but both survived. See article. https://www.indystar.com/story/news/2018/06/30/seaman-and-whistler-serve-grand-marshals-parade/748249002/

If I'm missing some details or facts here, my apologies in advance.

If there are two things the GOP movers and shakers are good at,it is losing elections and caving on principles while whining like little bitches as they apologize to the left for standing up for the Constitution.
Anyone who isn't paranoid in 2021 just isn't thinking clearly!
