CNBC reported, "Morgan Stanley's Mike Wilson attributes at least part of the recent stock market sell-off to some investors starting to think Republicans are going to keep their majority on Capitol Hill in the November midterm elections."
This happens when you stick a bunch of Never Trumpers out on an island you bought for $64. They talk among themselves to the point where they turn an ordinary correction into a political statement.
Wilson is "arguing the market would likely take a Republican win positively initially, but would then sell," CNBC said.
