U.S. Military Sending Miles and Miles of Concertina Wire to SW Border

(CNSNews.com) - "By the end of this week, we will deploy over 5,200 soldiers to the Southwest Border," as part of Operation Faithful Patriot, Air Force Gen. Terrence J. O'Shaughnessy, head of the U.S. Northern Command, told a news conference on Monday.

"That is just the start of this operation. We'll continue to adjust the numbers and inform you of those."

The 5,200 active duty troops are in addition to the 2,092 National Guard troops deployed earlier this year. The soldiers will "harden the points of entry and address key gaps in areas around the points of entry."

And that's not all:

Good move.

Round up every bundle of concertina that can be found in the country and ship it to the border.

Having personally seen the Berlin Wall from both sides in 1971, one could not help but be impressed by how thorough its construction was. Carefully planned and constructed. It WORKED. Few got across it and lived to tell about it.

But -- it wasn't "built in a day".
The East Germans started simply -- again, with barbed wire and guards -- and "built up" from there.

So it should be with the southern border.

Get that wire up.
Then work on more substantial and more permanent barriers.

This will certainly de escalate the chances of any of our military being forced to shoot.

Good move.
My 'Viking Hunter' High Adventure Alternate History Series is FREE, ALL 3 volumes, at most ebook retailers including Ibooks, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, and more.

In Vol 2 the weapons come out in a winner take all war on two fronts.

Vol 3 opens with the rigged murder trial of the villain in a Viking Court under Viking law to set the stage for the hero's own murder trial.
