You make an interesting point. You can do something with "socialism" and potentially have a rational conversation, but when you go to "Hitler" that's it. All rationalism and any potential meeting of minds is out of question.
It could be argued that @Once-Ler 's Never'ism is extreme at times but your argument that he is a demonrat or a liberal is just a cheap shot
People need to stop thinking in extremes. Reality isn't black and white, so people that see things in black and white are going to struggle to see reality. Extreme polarized thinking is destructive and dangerous, and both sides are waist deep in it.
I think a number of people are taking a break until after the election. It gets a bit superheated here.
I am sick of politics. I think I’m even not going to work on Election Day and not vote, and I’ve always voted. I’m just sick and tired of everything. Were things really better when we were kids?
Yes, because our parents dealt with that stuff and we weren't even aware of it.Please vote, @Freya. We need you.
@Sanguine I will I’m just upset about everything this weeK. I’ll be ok in a couple of days.
Things weren't near as bad or politicized back then. It's been a state of "progression" (pardon pun) by the left to become the commie-lite azholes that they are now.Cute avatar, btw.
People on the right: "Anything left of me is socialism."People on the left: "Anything right of me is Hitler."This hyperpartisan nonsense is getting us nowhere.
