WASHINGTON — President Trump on Wednesday denounced the attempted bomb attacks on several prominent Democratic Party figures, which he called “despicable acts,” as law enforcement officials across the country scrambled to identify the person or people behind the packages.

“As we speak, packages are being inspected,” Mr. Trump said. “We will spare no resources or expense in this effort.”

He also called on the nation to come together. “In these times we have to unify, we have to come together,” he said.

Targets of Explosive Devices

An explosive device was found on Monday in a mailbox at the home of George Soros. On Wednesday, similar devices were found in mail addressed to Hillary Clinton's home, Barack Obama's office and CNN's New York offices.

His response was reasonable. Schumer and Pelosi’s response to his response wasn’t. It was typically partisan and childish.
