Trump Warns of 'Unknown Middle Easterners' in Caravan; 'This Is a National Emergency'

(CNSNews.com) - "Sadly, it looks like Mexico’s Police and Military are unable to stop the Caravan heading to the Southern Border of the United States," President Trump tweeted on Monday morning. "Criminals and unknown Middle Easterners are mixed in. I have alerted Border Patrol and Military that this is a National Emergy. Must change laws!"

Then came two more tweets:

--"Every time you see a Caravan, or people illegally coming, or attempting to come, into our Country illegally, think of and blame the Democrats for not giving us the votes to change our pathetic Immigration Laws! Remember the Midterms! So unfair to those who come in legally."

-- Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador were not able to do the job of stopping people from leaving their country and coming illegally to the U.S. We will now begin cutting off, or substantially reducing, the massive foreign aid routinely given to them.

Declare the emergency sir, close the borders and militarize them NOW.

Agreed.  He's been talking about a wall, talking about calling in the military, national guard, etc.  As of now, the only thing that seems to be definitive is allowing the UN to process these people for awarding asylum.

Just curious, @INVAR, and no snark intended, if he does meet them with force, what does that do for your opinion of him?

I sure hope so, but I had read that he was advised not to call them in.  Hopefully it was wrongly reported.

Basically its a declaration of a threat that can be met deploying the resources at the president's disposal. A first necessary step towards deploying the military, I hope.

Federal judges have ruled against him in the past.  I do not know of another time when he has declared a national emergency and they have ruled against him.

He's all talk and no action and this is the reaction from the MSM.  Oh -- and along with accusing the DEMS he vowed to withhold money from the countries that they're coming from...which will have zero impact on those that are en route or have already reached Mexico.

14,000 plus are now said to be in the invasion army that is en route to our border.

That is an entire US Army division coming up to our border.   Men who have declared themselves 'warriors' who will not stop, who burn the American flag and carry theirs.

And they are not walking anymore.  They are being driven up in semi-truckloads.
