"There was something about putting this hat on that made me feel like Superman," West said, as part of an extended soliloquy that spanned topics from his mental health to prison reform to what kind of plane Trump should fly in.
West also said the President is on a "hero's journey."
"Let's stop worrying about the future, all we have is today," West said, commenting on his own presidential ambitions. "Trump is on his hero's journey right now. He might not have thought he'd have a crazy mother-f***r like me (supporting him)."

I don't know. That rambling unintelligible speech he gave seemed genuine......at least the parts I understood. Omarosa has a history of being a piece of shit.

So does Kanye. I was horrified that Victoria's Secret chose him to sing at one of their TV events. At best, he's multi-persona mentally unbalanced. At worst, he's just getting free publicity and will probably turn on Trump as soon as it's expedient and convenient. He has been diagnosed as bi-polar, too. Wacko.

It's good to have someone from the music industry who is an outspoken Trump supporter, but he's always been a little too far out there for me.

It's so much easier to be a "victim" then it is to take command of your life and accept responsibility for the bad things that happen. Also, there is a power structure within the Black community that depends on continuing the perception that they are victims and only govt. can solve the problem. Overcoming this perception and expected view of the world is pretty tough when this view is reinforced in elected representatives, the local influential figures, the culture, and the media. Add in that you are considered a traitor to your race if you're not a Rat and it will be a shock if Pubs can get more than 10% of the Black vote.

I don't know what that means. That he's been popular? So what.

But I'm sticking with with my gut feeling and with that olde adage that a leopard can't change its spots. And similarly, Kanye can't change who he is. I don't know what his motivation is....

but I just can't trust him.

Trust him with what? Kanye is the one taking the risk @XenaLee --- he's one heartbeat away from being a persona non grata -- and worse. Especially after this:

I don't understand this sudden distrust of Kanye. He's not exactly a prime orator but his heart seems to be in the right place so why not give him a little space before condemning him.

West is still a jackass (the one thing Obama was right about) with no discernable talent (except for promoting himself), but he serves a purpose. If his support for Trump helps turn blacks away from the Thug Party, it's good.

Well, he's got the Black liberal community all het up, so I call that a good thing.

As for his language in the Oval Office, I don't like it at all, but I don't like my friends on Facebook tossing around the F Word all the time either. Why????
