@andy58-in-nh @Sanguine Small sample of registered voters (729) and ... "31% described themselves as Democrats, 25% described themselves as Republicans, and 44% described themselves as independents".
Thanks for the data, andy!
31 divided by [31+25] X 100% = ~55%.
25 divided by [31+25] X 100% = ~43%.
Given that the poll's results for the Dems was 54%--
essentially the same number we get from the split of major party affiliations (Dem versus GOP), we can probably adjust both the Dem and GOP figures downward by the ratio of 54/55. And 54/55 X 43% = ~42% which is
very close to the 41% GOP result in the poll. (The effect of the Indies seems to have been insignificant.)
At the bottom line, this push-polling survey is nonsense. It doesn't prove that the Dems are enthusiastic. It just proves that they are almost invincibly ignorant (which might be portentous only of the enthusiasm of fools). About half of the Indies aren't too sophisticated, either, since although they were by far the largest group sampled, they seem to have mirrored the Dem-versus-GOP split.
In any case, the polls shouldn't even be close at this point. Time for Trump to open up lots of sealed indictments, if you ask me. It's time to wake up the
ignorami and fools as to what has really been going on for many years in the Democratic Socialist Swamp.
