Two former Yale classmates withdraw support for Kavanaugh
By Michael Burke - 10/02/18 06:08 PM EDT

A pair of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh's former classmates at Yale Law on Tuesday withdrew their support of him after previously endorsements.

Michael Proctor and Mark Osler wrote in a letter to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and ranking member Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) that they can no longer support Kavanaugh's confirmation because of the "nature" of his testimonty in front of the committee last week while addressing accusations of sexual misconduct.

“In our view that testimony was partisan, and not judicious, and inconsistent with what we expect from a Justice of the Supreme Court, particularly dealing with a co-equal branch of government," they wrote.

They added that their decision to withdraw their support was not based on the allegations made by Christine Blasey Ford, who has said that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her in high school.

This would sway only Deep State bad actors among the Republican Senators--perhaps Flake--who are desperate for excuses to nix Kavanaugh's nomination.

If the FBI review finds no evidence to support the allegations, then we have to presume the allegations are false.  And if they are false accusations, then Kavanaugh happens to KNOW with ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY that they are part of an illegal, partisan conspiracy of perjury to smear a good nominee.

It follows that Kavanaugh's angry defense of his reputation was just the sort of temperament a federal judge should display in the face of an illegal conspiracy against the Constitution and against justice and civil decency.  A federal judge should be ROYALLY angry.  A person who does NOT get angry enough to heap contempt back upon those who plot to smear him is precisely the sort of smarmy, cold candidate who should not be confirmed.

We don't need the other Yaley punks anywhere near our courts or our nation's political system.

I guess I must have missed the part in the Constitution that talks about the critical role of a Supreme Court Justice nominee's former classmates in the confirmation process.

Someone (or two someones) certainly think very highly of themselves.

10,000 people in Mississippi are just now chanting "We want Kavanaugh".

I guess this will change now that these two fools have weighed in.

Call me crazy, but I actually prefer a judge who exhibits genuine outrage at injustice.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

Michael Proctor of Caldwell Leslie & Proctor - Campaign contributions according to Open Secrets:

2008     Baraq Obama     $4,600  (in excess of legal limit)
2016     DNC Services     $200
2016     Hillary Clinton     $250
2016     Adam Schiff     $260
2016     Christopher Coons     $250
2016     Lawrence Lessig     $250

btw, his law firm has since merged with Boies Schiller Flexner.  If the name 'Boies' sounds familiar, it should.  David Boies was Gore's lawyer in Florida during the 2000 recount who famously filed a false affidavit in Broward County.  For that alone, he should have been disbarred.

Mark Osler - pro-narcotics, anti-death penalty law professor in Minnesota.  In other words, a hard-left Democrat.  Their 'withdrawals' are orchestrated.  They never would have supported Kavanaugh to begin with.

Here's part of the letter from Ford's former boyfriend referenced in Grassley's letter above:
