Is this the hill they die on?
By Anna L. Stark

Ask yourself the following question: Is the repugnant and egregious behavior of the Democrats on Senate Judiciary Committee and their enablers the hill they want to die on? Is the hideous, unfounded, but well-coordinated attack on Judge Brett Kavanagh worth it, considering that President Trump may have the opportunity to nominate not one, but perhaps two more people to the Supreme Court during his tenure in the White House? Given the better than average chance that Judge Kavanagh will be confirmed by the Senate by the end of this week, it’s not too farfetched to imagine that future Senate Judiciary committee hearings will be tainted from the outset, clouded by doubt, much more nefarious behavior by Democrats, and punctuated with despicable vulgarity.

For Democrats, their grossly miscalculated strategy of character assassination has fallen woefully short of achieving their desired outcome. Two women, assisted by an army of lawyers, enablers, and far left political operatives crafted narratives that are not only devoid of specific details and factual evidence, but feature no corroborating witnesses. Not surprisingly, all the witnesses named to date have categorically denied the allegations, leaving both of the accusers drowning in a sea of doubt and suspicion. In a bizarre twist of logic, former Michigan governor Jennifer Granholm stated on a CNN panel that no corroborating witnesses absolutely proves the accuser’s allegation to be true. Obviously, Granholm has never set foot in an American courtroom, in which actual evidence and eyewitness testimony is required to prove guilt.

In the GOP's eyes the other 9,999 hills weren't .

Remains to be seen whether they will cave on this one too.

While it's bolstering their Rat "base," it's driving the normals away from their party.  I think that's good for us, on balance.  Normal people don't agree with the "Guilty until proven innocent" approach to Republicans.
For unvaccinated, we are looking at a winter of severe illness and death — if you’re unvaccinated — for themselves, their families, and the hospitals they’ll soon overwhelm. Sloe Joe Biteme 12/16
I will NOT comply.

Yup. It's Show Time to shore up the hard core "Gimmee Gimmee Socialist" Rat base, but they're smoking the Independents (who aren't political junkies like we are) right off the page.

This is Going to smart when those cows come home.

The question:
"Is this the hill they die on?"

Fishrrman's answer:
We aren't even close to the top of that hill yet.
Wait until next time...!

Some conservatives might be wondering why Dems are so vicious with this nomination. It will mean an almost certain virtual conservative outcome in SC decisions for maybe decades to come.
Here's hoping RBG does the honorable thing and gets out soon.  Don't want her to croak....just get out with obvious dementia issues.
