Six Senate Democrats filed a lawsuit against the National Archives and Records Administration on Monday to obtain records from Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s time working for the Bush administration, according to a Buzzfeed News report.

Sens. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), Patrick Leahy (D-VT), Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI), Mazie Hirono (D-HI), Cory Booker (D-NJ), and Kamala Harris (D-CA) are requesting immediate court action to get the documents as soon as possible.

According to Buzzfeed News, the lawsuit addresses three requests Democrats made on August 8 to the National Archives and its subsection of the Bush Library, and the CIA.

So they want documents revealed when they want them, but want Trump to keep documents hidden when they want them hidden.

Got it.
The Republic is lost.
