Glenn: California’s mandatory corporate gender quotas is ‘one step closer to democratic socialism’
Glenn Beck Sep 7, 2018 8:54 am
California lawmakers voted in favor of a bill that will require gender quotas for publicly traded companies within the state. The bill — which would require companies to have at least one woman on its corporate boards by 2019, and one to three women, depending on the size of the company, by 2021 — now hangs on Gov. Jerry Brown’s signature. If signed, the law will be the first state-mandated gender quota in U.S. history.
“California continues to be the test case in how not to run a state,†Glenn Beck said Thursday on “The Glenn Beck Radio Program.†“I hope the rest of the nation is paying attention, because California keeps passing mind-blowingly bad laws that have little to do with the constitutional concept of freedom — and Texas is paying the price!â€
