Omarosa says she thinks anonymous op-ed came from Pence's office

Former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman on Thursday said she believes the anonymous op-ed in The New York Times disparaging President Trump likely came from within Vice President Pence’s office.

Manigault Newman said Thursday on the “Bernie and Sid in the Morning” radio show that she doesn’t think Pence authored the op-ed, but that someone on his staff did.

“I would say I could narrow it down to Pence’s office,” she said.

She added that the writer “is very specific about being a staffer.”

“Having served as an assistant to the president as well, I believe it’s a staffer,” she said. “I don’t believe it is someone who is at the president or vice president’s level. But because of the choice of words, it is very similar to the speaking style and patterns of someone who would work around the vice president. That’s my opinion.”

I am beginning to think that this whole thing is phoney, and was concocted by somebody at the NYT.

That storyline is also being pushed elsewhere, like Yahoo, for example.  Not sure what they expect to accomplish with that.

Pleae forgive Frank.  I thinnk he, like many Trump fans, is afraid there might be some truth in the op-ed and Bernstein's book and that his hero has been exposed for the corrupt, mentally unbalanced, paranoid, idiotic, thoroughly unsuitable president he is.  When Trump fans become afraid, they lash out -- just like their hero.
