Vice President Pence's office denied Thursday that he was behind an anonymous op-ed in The New York Times that described efforts among staffers in the Trump administration to push back against the president's instincts.

Jarrod Agen, Pence's deputy chief of staff and communications director, tweeted that the vice president's office "is above such amateur acts."

"The Vice President puts his name on his Op-Eds. The @nytimes should be ashamed and so should the person who wrote the false, illogical, and gutless op-ed," Agen tweeted.

This is the Gay Old Lady we are talking about. There is at least a 50/50 chance they wrote it themselves to sow discord amongst the Trump ranks to try to get them fighting amongst each other so they would lose their focus on the SC nominee hearings.

Plus,this is red meat to the left,and it will get them as giddy as school girls at the thought of being able to jam a stick in the Trump bicycle spokes.

There are folks who want to imply that things are so bad with the Trump team that they are trying to set up Mike Pence to be the President after they mount a legal coup d' etat on trump.
