While the Washington press corps chased the squirrels of Senate hearings about the Supreme Court and Twitter, TMZ covered a much more substantive story: Kim Kardashian West meeting President Trump.

Van Jones was there. He was Obama's energy czar who was canned after the revelation that he is a communist. Under Obama, only CIA directors were allowed to be communists.
