Absolutely, @Mesaclone but that was not the case with the Roy Moore debacle. Moore was simply not 'our sort' to some people here and they set out to destroy him because he embarrassed them. It was really ugly.
Thanks for your post Emjay. Yeah I am still unlocking the puzzle pieces, but looks like it started with a fellow (Richard Hagedorn) that was ticked at Roy Moore started the ball rolling.... Adam lost a suit in front of Moore to his ex wife for some 63+k and had a brother (David) David Hagedorn, who is a columnist for WAPO and resides in Washington, D.C., with his male partner. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg presided over the high-profile marriage of Hagedorn and his partner in Washington, D.C., while the case of Obergefell v. Hodges was pending before her Court. Richard Hagedorn attended the “wedding.†Judge Moore had been critical of the same-sex marriage movement and its success in the federal courts prior to his candidacy for U.S. Senate. He had, in particular, criticized Justice Ginsburg for performing same-sex marriages while the legal validity of that practice was at issue in a case pending before her Court. . . .
So it looks like Adam who happened to be a long time friends (claimed 40 years) to Leigh Corfman (one of the ladies that made allegations against Moore)... On or about October 12, 2017, Adam Hagedorn met with an agent for the WAPO (The Washington Post) at the Big Chief Restaurant in Glencoe where the lies got a going.
This is just the tip of iceberg... throw in Highway 31 pact money with false advertisements (like Roy was banned from a mall)... throw in late night comedians sending stooges to disrupt campaign stops. Throw in Rinos not supporting him (yes including Cruz). Throw in Trump campaigning most the time against Moore and only showing some feigned support by a rally in neighboring state. Throw in members of the state democrat party having a helping hand (lawyer wise).. Throw in the new world famous woman lawyer (known for ambulance chasing)... and it becomes a circus.
Richard Hagedorn reposted on his Facebook page a message that “Roy Moore tells church congregation a conspiracy of ‘lesbians, gays, bisexuals, socialists†are behind his multiple pedophilia accusations.†Above that post, he added the headline: “This is why
WE fight Roy Moore,†revealing his true bias against Judge Moore and his true political motivation for participation in a conspiracy to defeat his candidacy.
Just saying if there was one shred of evidence against Moore, I certainly would love to hear it. All I see is a railroading. Just one shred please.
