Ford's credit downgraded at Moody's, to 1 notch above 'junk' status

Ford Motor Co.'s F, -0.25% credit was downgraded Wednesday one notch to Baa3 at Moody's Investors Service, which puts the rating at the bottom rung of the investment-grade ladder. The automaker's stock fell 0.1% in afternoon trade. The rating outlook is negative, which suggests a downgrade into "junk" status is more likely than an upgrade.
