Rare snowfall covers the Italian Alps during summer

Stunning aerial views of a rare snowfall that blanketed the Italian Alps earlier this week.

Drone footage shows snow-covered mountains at the Dolomite peak.

The filmer writes: ‘’With the entry of the fresh northern currents following the disturbance from Scandinavia as well as heavy rains, snow made its return to the Alps.''
