US president publicly addresses prospect of removal from office for first time

Donald Trump has been warned the “countdown” to impeachment is underway, after his former lawyer implicated the president in crimes committed during the 2016 election.

On Thursday, Mr Trump publicly addressed the prospect of impeachment for the first time, claiming the market would “crash” if his presidency was threatened.

“I don't know how you can impeach somebody who has done a great job,” Mr Trump told Fox News. “I will tell you what, if I ever got impeached, I think the market would crash. I think everybody would be very poor because, without this thinking, you would see – you would see numbers that you wouldn't believe, in reverse.”

Curious, since the markets do make corrections, some a lot more painful than others, what will people say if Trump is not impeached and the market still crashes?
According to the news reports I've been hearing, we are on the longest running bull market period in history.
Does everyone think it will be sustained for 2 or 6 more years, of a Trump presidency?
If trump is impeached, and the market crashes, the impeachment will get the blame, and it is possible that it would be the case, as it would signal an instability that the market may abhor.
I wonder who, or what, will get the blame if it crashes and he is not impeached?
Dot com bubble and housing junk bond bubble bursting were the last 2.
I wonder what "bubble" will be next?

I stop by zerohedge.com daily, and I rarely see a day pass they're not predicting a major correction/crash is imminent.

So far they've been calling it wrong for 2 years.


Impeach Trump?

What will Pence do as the Mueller spotlight is immediately turned on him?

Trump may very well be right about a market crash if the Deep State removes him, and his policies are reversed.
