OBVIOUSLY you WERE THERE and know everything there is to know about the situation in contrast to the person swearing the affidavit.
Sigh.
Yes, I was there since she thinks an application for a mail ballot is a secret piece of information and she took them to a room where people in secret were.
Broward County would have many thousands of applications for a mail ballot. Someone has to open that envelope and do what is necessary to mail a ballot to that person. That group sounds like they were sending mail ballots and sending applications to be filled out and returned to get a ballot. They had actual ballots in the room, so the door would always stay locked. If had door had NOT been locked, she would have a case against them.
When my group worked on
received mail ballots, I locked the door because we had completed ballots in envelopes and we were going to take the ballot out of the mailing envelope. One could not leave the room without coming to me and telling me why he/she was leaving. No one worked alone. There were numerous groups with two people in a group - one Democrat, one Republican.
No, I don't believe her. She was temporary and didn't know the rules - she was a clerical person, not a election law person who knew certain working events had to be done in locked rooms.
To those who want to know:
People return their mail ballot by mail or by taking it there to the county election administer. It is put in a locked up area. On the days before the election, I would have my group meet. The door would be locked because the mail ballots in their mailing envelope would delivered and deliveries would keep be made to us as more ballots came in. There is information on the back of the mailing envelope and if that information is incorrect, the ballot is rejected then. I had to make list of ones rejected because I had to write them as to why their ballot was rejected.
I was paid so much money a day for doing that, and I used it to feed my group lunch every day we worked. That gave them more money.
Okay, finished mail ballots unless you have questions, PM me.
