The Punisher’s popularity in the military serves as a litmus test for the public's opinion of war.

Even if you aren’t familiar with Marvel’s gun-toting brutal vigilante, the Punisher, chances are you’ve seen his symbol: a leering white skull on a black background.

Showing up in Iraq and Afghanistan on unofficial unit patches; spray-painted on buildings, vehicles, and equipment; and as military tattoos, the skull may have greater renown than the comic-book character, especially among service members.

The Punisher, aka Frank Castle, is a former Force Reconnaissance Marine and Vietnam War veteran, though in newer issues his military service has become more nebulous, hinting at the character’s involvement in more recent conflicts. After the death of his family, Castle dons the guise of the Punisher, a pitiless anti-hero who delivers justice to his targets in the form of violent death. Wearing all black with a white skull emblazoned on his chest, the symbol is usually the last thing his targets see.

The Punisher’s skull has appeared all over the place, especially in films about the military, from John Krasinski in “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi” rocking a skull patch on his flak, to Navy SEAL veteran Marcus Luttrell showing up in “Range 15” with his face painted like the Punisher skull, to its numerous appearances in “American Sniper.”

It’s become so prevalent that a recent Punisher comic-book series included a scene where he rescues a group of U.S. Army Special Forces soldiers who later adopt his symbol as a unit patch when they deploy to Afghanistan.

“I was trying to explain why every special operations guy I know basically has a Punisher patch of some sort, and why every conex and trunk had a Punisher skull painted on it somewhere,” explained Kevin Maurer, who co-wrote “No Easy Day,” with Matt Bissonnette. Maurer also worked on issues #7 and #8 of “The Punisher” series in 2014. “In the Marvel universe, if all these guys had Punisher skulls, why would they have Punisher skulls on their gear?”

 Police in Norway are looking into the disappearance of Arjien Kamphuis, a Dutch citizen with links to WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange. Versions on Twitter have ranged from a hiking incident, to a secret assignment, to a CIA hit.

Kamphuis, a cyber security expert and co-author of a handbook for investigative journalists on how to keep themselves and their work safe from government spying, has been missing since August 20th, when he checked out of a hotel in the town of Bodø in northern Norway.

The disappearance was first reported on Twitter by Ancilla Van De Leest, former Dutch Pirate Party frontrunner and privacy activist on Friday. She wrote that Kamphuis was going to board a train from Bodø to Trondheim, which usually takes 10 hours.

Norwegian police on Sunday confirmed that they have opened a probe into the 47-year-old Dutchman's disappearance, saying that at the moment they are in the dark about events that could have preceded it.

In the missing persons report disseminated on social media, Kamphuis is decribed as an "avid hiker," which prompted some commentators to suggest that the Assange associate might have gotten lost while hiking in the mountainous terrain.

Some Wikileaks supporters have suggested the man might have been snatched or even killed in a covert CIA operation. However remote the chances of it being true, the need to even consider such an option has some people worried.

At its most basic, MKUltra is a system of abuse (ritual Satanic abuse, to be specific) designed to fracture the mind.

The thing is, this is not like “normal” abuse in the way the average person might think of it. No, this is the “science” of abuse. It’s a focused system designed to inflict maximum pain upon a target in order to achieve a very specific, whereas the common kind of abuse you hear about in police reports and on TV usually falls under the “crimes of passion” label.

Through heinous torture, the use of drugs and hypnosis, the mind of the victim is systematically broken – as a kind of survival reaction – and reshaped. The person going through the trauma dissociates in order to get through the pain and live. But in this broken state, the victim’s mind becomes pliant and to use #TheCabal’s own terminology, “programmable.”

The programmer(s), through a number of techniques, creates what are known as “alters” in the mind of the victim. These are dissociative identities that are effectively walled off from each other. One alter is in charge of the body at any given time, and these alters can be triggered – that is, to make a switch and take over – by different stimuli. This is where you’ve seen things like programmable assassins in popular media. But it goes beyond that, into things like sex slaves, and such – making them engage in behaviors they might not otherwise choose, but for the programming.

The term “Follow the white rabbit” obviously comes from Alice in Wonderland, but I don’t think many people realize the reality behind that book.

Alice was written by Lewis Carroll, real name Charles Lutwidge Dodgson. Carroll was something of an English socialite and eccentric living in Oxford, and that’s about the time when he began hanging around the Liddell’s.

Well, the Liddells had a few daughters, one of which was named Alice… and Carroll soon became, frankly, obsessed.

Along those lines, I had a Legionary reach out to me this past week to discuss this topic, and he had some interesting things to say:

    I started reading Our Life Beyond MKULTRA https://www.amazon.com/dp/1490439684 and found reference to the author’s experience to being systematically abused for control purposes. One of the personalities is referred to as “rabbit” and is associated with sexual acts performed at command.

    The connect to Q’s White Rabbit posts seems obvious to me, and that the elite have psychological abuse down to a science. So they can manipulate children into ritual sex acts. The abusers blackmail each other into secrecy, and the memory is locked behind a trauma wall for the child.

Here are a few pages from that book, written by one “Elisa E,” who claims to be an MKUltra survivor working on reintegrating herself – a process which takes years, and which may never be complete.

Note, she often refers to herself with “plural” pronouns – to account for all the fractured alters she has inside her head. She will often describe the alters as talking to themselves, or having one alter reveal memories to the other alters – as she attempts to reintegrate:

But I will point out here that “rabbit” is not exclusively subjected to sexual abuse. This alter is also subjected to horrors – watching the other man get tortured and die.

While many alters are sexually abused, it seems to me that “rabbit” is designed to be passive and timid, above all. It’s a supreme victim alter; not just a sexual alter (as opposed to “kitten,” which we’ll see in a bit).
