Mom believes letter is from her runaway daughter, 5 years later

Emily Paul was just 14 when she ran away from her northern Florida home in 2013. Five years later, she's letting her distressed family know she’s OK.

Paul penned a letter to relatives to let them know she was well and had a support system, five years after leaving a note telling them she was bolting, reported the Panama City News Herald.

The teen’s mother, Pam Massimiani, confirmed she had received a letter and believed it was sent by her daughter.

The story goes on to say Emily Paul went to the police and her identity was confirmed. I guess, she's no longer a minor so she left the police station as well.
