@Right_in_Virginia The call went great @CatherineofAragon -- thanks for asking. It was with our LA subsidiary and they really need this business--- and they deserve to win it. All fingers are crossed.
......Uh, okay.
You'll never find me at the ballet, Catherine--just don't like it. But, since you're so interested in my life, here you go: business will draw down to a crawl in August so for the remaining summer we're taking four day weekends and will be spending them on the Vineyard. In fact, we leave tomorrow morning--too early for my liking --- flying through Boston. Then we plan to take the full week for Labor Day. After that Steve will go up maybe once or twice to check on things ... and if weather permits we'll celebrate Thanksgiving on the Vineyard and then close the house.
That's what we've got planned as of now. If things change, I'll ping you.
So, what's going on on your end?
Damn. My last post really did piss you off.
Okay, well, your story is---interesting, I guess? And it establishes that you have at least a modicum of wealth, which is what you were aiming for. For some reason.
I agree about the ballet. It isn't my style. Neither is Martha's Vineyard. And summertime is too hot for vacations, at least for me and the husband. We usually wait until fall. My in-laws have a luxury condo at the beach they keep for vacations, weekends, etc., and I think we might head down there. Until then? I don't need to work outside the house. I quit a few years ago. My sister-in-law and I have been thinking about really getting serious about working out together.
Your beach home...is it clapboard?
