LOL. $1200? You buy that when Mork and Mindy was still popular?

Starsky & Hutch. Mork & Mindy came later.

A car that doesn't start or drive is worth $50k - $60k?  Hey, I've got a '99 Chevy Blazer that starts *and* drives.  I'll sell it to you for $20k.

Yeah, but if you pull the motor on that Blowser and and make it a roller you can add $30-40K to that price. Pastor Donnie says so and he don't lie.

I am not greedy.  I wonder if I torched it if insurance would give me the $20k.  I think that's what I paid for it 19 years ago.

Then you got ripped off at the Bowtie Dealer. They were giving those things away with the purchase of 4 tires and a Delco battery.

I offered $250 over invoice and i think back then the invoice price through KBB was still reliable.  I may not be remembering right what I paid for it.

Still runs great after 20 years.  I got every penny's worth out of and then some.  The clear coat on it is just now starting to peel.

You're just jealous that I know how to take care of my cars better than you do.

Listen. I don't care how many coats of wax you put on a turd to make it shiny......it's still a turd.

Will you let me wax you to see if that's true?

@RoosGirl

There is no such thing as a 99 Chevy Blazer worth 20 grand.

Tried to buy a restored Studebaker Dictator lately? A 57 Corvette with FI from the factory? How about an restored 65 Shelby Cobra or Shelby Mustang?

Or even more plebeian cars. I have a friend that recently paid 15 grand for a VERY nice and original 1917 Oldsmobile touring,and then had to pay 5 grand to get the wooden wheels rebuilt.
Anyone who isn't paranoid in 2021 just isn't thinking clearly!
