On Wednesday, at a joint event with New York gubernatorial candidate Cynthia Nixon, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez showed once again her paltry knowledge of political issues, stating that after she made inflammatory remarks about the state of Israel that the people who were outraged at her were members of the “alt-right.”

    Ocasio-Cortez asked about her "bit of stumble" on Israel this week.

She reportedly received a degree in International Relations at Boston University, which costs more than a quarter of a million dollars to attend.  So, who paid for that?   And who ever did should demand a refund.

Whole  heartily  agree.  I am a faithful follower of Mike Rowe's school of thought on that very front.  How ever, in the case of this socialist example.....she has exhibited no natural skill or aptitude for manual labour.   All that is left is to her is to hide under the cloak of "Academia".  :)

I wonder if there's even a Republican on the ballot in that Congressional district in the Bronx...?

However...
I recall reading that the longtime guy she beat -- is his name Crowley? -- will still be on the ballot, but not as a "democrat", but some other minority party there ("working families party", perhaps??).

It's possible that he could campaign against her on that basis, and might even have a chance at beating her. That's how Joe Lieberman got himself re-elected for his last term in the Senate in Connecticut, after Ned Lamont beat him in the primary -- Lieberman ran as an independent instead.

But unless Crowley pushes it -- and I'm guessing he may not -- she's probably a shoo-in in November.
