Trump lashes out at EU over massive Google fine: 'I told you so'

President Trump on Thursday lashed out at the EU for imposing a record $5 billion antitrust fine on Google.

Trump wrote in a tweet that the move shows the EU is targeting U.S. companies.

“I told you so!” he said. “The European Union just slapped a Five Billion Dollar fine on one of our great companies, Google. They truly have taken advantage of the U.S., but not for long!”

He’s absolutely high if he believes he’s going to get any mileage or praise from the Silicon Valley crowd. Besides, the US fined a ‘great’ Chinese company $1.9B for violating sanctions.  The Senate is attempting to block them from US market access, because they are a massive security risk.  Guess who’s trying to let them off the hook?
