Aaron Blake The Washington Post

We're now just four months, practically speaking, from the effective launch of the 2020 Democratic presidential primary season. As soon as the 2018 midterm election is in the books — win or lose — you'll probably see a handful of the dozens of prospective candidates making moves or even launching campaigns to challenge President Donald Trump.

Each quarter, the Washington Post handicaps potential candidates. Here is its latest ranking of possible contenders for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020:

Worth watching: Montana Gov. Steve Bullock, former U.S. Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro, California Gov. Jerry Brown, Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, Oregon Sen. Jeff Merkley, former Starbucks executive chairman Howard Schultz, Illinois Rep. Luis Gutierrez, New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, Washington Gov. Jay Inslee.

I don't think the Californians or New Yorkers named have much national appeal. None of the others looks very promising at this point.

Remember no one knew Barack Obama...

That helped him. Could also help some upcoming Dem, but Cuomo or Brown?

Holder, Bloomberg, Warren, Cumo and DiBlasso all have name recognition so I think they are strong possibilities.

My hunch is Holder or Julian Castro.  God help us.

Rumors have recently been flying around that Hillary is running again in 2020.  She'll have 4 years to conjure up some more of her corruption.  Don't count her out.

Holder without a doubt; he was Bammy's right hand man in corruption and partner in crime(s).
