Not relevant to the story, but I lived in Shoreview and was a choral director in Hastings................ many moons ago.How could he not stop at the scene? Horrible tragedy.
Only 800 pounds out of a dump truck? Might very well not have noticed it.
I bet the driver failed to stay back 100 feet. She should have been ticketed for following to close.
