A Los Angeles judge declined to overturn a 20-day sealing order of Playboy model Shera Bechard’s complaint against GOP donor Elliott Broidy Tuesday but ordered the defendants, including Michael Avenatti, receive immediate, unredacted copies.
Avenatti, the outspoken lawyer of porn star Stormy Daniels, received his copy of the still-sealed complaint while standing outside the courtroom during a break. The judge said the parties must keep the contents secret.
Avenatti was named as a defendant along with Broidy and Bechard’s former lawyer Keith Davidson when the complaint was filed Friday under seal.
