South Texas HIDTA Task Force members seize a cache of assault weapons and armament

LAREDO, Texas – Special agents with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) on Tuesday led an enforcement action that resulted in seizing 21 rifles, 962 rounds of ammunition, ammunition magazines, belt-fed magazines, ballistic plates, armor carriers and ghillie (camouflage) suits.

“Homeland Security Investigations will continue to leverage its expansive authorities to combat transnational criminal organizations,” said Assistant Special Agent in Charge Adrian Flores, HSI Laredo. “HSI’s partnership with federal, state and local law enforcement in Laredo is crucial to ensuring public safety and national security in the U.S. and Mexico.”

Will David Hogg go nutso over this?  How about other gun control nazis?  How about gun control polticians?  Not a chance!  To do so would run the risk of an investigation of the nefarious activities of our neighbors to the south and shut down some of the immigration fervor. ****slapping

"No immediate arrests were made in connection to the seizure."
<p>
So nothing was illegal, but the guns and ammo were still seized. And now they are bragging about
stealing private property.

They had reason to believe the weapons were about to be smuggled into Mexico.  Weren’t certain people on this forum bitching about Obama letting such weapons get smuggled into Mexico?  You can’t have it both ways.
