Former Republican Steve Schmidt of MSNBC, who is vehemently opposed to Donald Trump and left the party over him, appeared on the network today to discuss the president and policy and ended up making a remarkably outrageous statement.

On the subject of the Supreme Court's decision in the so-called travel ban case, Schmidt said: "Today was a fantastic fulfillment of Osama bin Laden’s vision by Donald J. Trump."

If it accomplished nothing else, this administration has forced disgusting bottom feeders like Geo Will & Steve Schmidt out of the GOP.

Not so much that the masks have come off...just that they are saying what the likes of McConnell...Cornyn and the other establishment types in DC are thinking but can't say because they'd never win another election again if they did.

I concur with that.  McConnell is known for having others do his dirty work for him, along with pushing to kill a bill behind the scenes and then voting 'for' it at roll call.

It would be ironic if Schmidt should be attacked by the unhinged Left because he is identified as a "Republican". When people are loOsing their minds, they rarely let facts get in their way. If Schmidt wants to play the game, he'd better embrace every manner of kookery or he will pay the price. They expect complete loyalty.
