Voters in Colorado, Maryland, South Carolina, Utah, Oklahoma and Mississippi are also selecting competitors for the Nov. 6 elections, when Democrats will seek to wrest control of Congress from U.S. President Donald Trump's Republican Party.

Democrats need to flip 23 of 435 seats to take over the House of Representatives, which would stymie much of Trump's agenda while opening up new avenues of investigation into his administration. They would have to net two seats to take the Senate, but face longer odds there, according to analysts.

Apparently Joe Crowley D-NY whose district is in Queens is losing 57-43% in apparently one of the biggest Dem primary upsets in a long time.

Joe Crowley, who has had his eye on the speakership and is Queens Co boss, is losing by double digits w over half of the votes counted.  It would be the biggest upset in a Democratic primary yet this year.

House Dem leader Crowley on cusp of staggering loss
Trump-endorsed McMaster wins South Carolina primary, and Donovan beats Grimm in New York.

Updated 9:41 p.m.: Rep. Dan Donovan defeated former Rep. Michael Grimm in their Republican primary Tuesday night, stopping Grimm’s comeback attempt following a federal prison sentence.

Donovan had 64 percent of the vote in New York’s 11th District to Grimm’s 36 percent when the Associated Press called the race with 92 percent of precincts reporting.

Donovan had support from a number of Republican outside groups and, critically, President Donald Trump, who tweeted that the GOP could not afford to nominate Grimm in a potential swing district. Donovan will face Democrat Max Rose, who also won his primary tonight, in November...

I figured Grimm had a shot in Staten Island, home borough of New York’s famous mafia figures.

Picture it. The bad boy Grimm up against the tough DA Donovan. Would have been just like Staten Islanders to vote in a jailbird. But, it was not to be.

Congrats New York...you've nominated a member of the Democrat Socialist Party of America.
The libs/dems of today are the Quislings of former years. The cowards who would vote a fraud into office in exchange for handouts from the devil.

Here lies in honored glory an American soldier, known but to God
