The article concludes with what may be the most suitable epitaph for Tesla should Musk disappoint in a few days when he reports Q2 production figures.

    “It’s preposterous,” Bernstein’s Warburton said.

“I don’t think anyone’s seen anything like this outside of the military trying to service vehicles in a war zone. I pity any customer taking delivery of one of these cars. The quality will be shocking.”

Preposterous or not, the clock is ticking on Tesla.

The company has just days before it has to update investors on the current state of production and how the business is running. If the tent is any indication, expect many to voice their disappointments out in the open...

Here's the story behind the pic in post 1:

July 6, 1944.
167 dead, more than 700 injured.

Aside:
I once ran the Ringling Brothers Circus train, up to Hartford of all places.
Picked it up from the P&W in Old Saybrook, nursed it through Cedar Hill freight yard (New Haven) onto the Springfield line, then pulled it north of Hartford Station and backed the whole thing off to where it could be parked and unloaded.

That thing was long and heavy, and I remember the brakes seemed strange. Mostly passenger equipment, but braked like a freight train.

When many of the passengers are 6 tons apiece...
