Liberals Are Pushing The Country To The Edge

In a time of crazy, it’s been a Hell of a week. I literally wrote the book on the liberal outrage culture and this week disturbed even me. There are some things you simply can’t undo, some ledges you can’t pull back from. We’re teetering on one now. How can we, as a nation, get back to civility or even just get along again?

Make no mistake, this mob is not the majority, or even anywhere close to plurality, but history is littered with examples of small, committed and violent gangs of thugs obtaining power through a willingness to do anything to get it. That’s what Democrats are becoming – American Castros, Khmer Rouge, Gestapo, or whatever example you like. These are all different sides of the same “progressive” dice and liberals are gearing up to roll them.

When the leadership of the party does not condemn mob action against a Cabinet Secretary while she’s having a meal or is at home, disrupting her entire neighborhood, the next steps are only more dangerous. And when the media willingly lies to advance the mob to those next steps, how do you pump the brakes on this runaway train?

These aren’t fringe elements anymore, these are journalists and pundits in good standing on CNN and MSNBC spreading these lies. They are being parroted and acted up on by an angry mob simply waiting for a spark, or worse, an opportunity.

This is the salient point: These people pushing this are professionals at shaping the imagery which molds not just young minds, but is adept at provoking the same sort of emotional responses that Leni Riefenstahl and so many others have elicited, to the detriment of nations, and the immeasurable grief of millions.

The pervasive propaganda may be unparalleled in history, or perhaps not, because since the before Bolsheviks claimed to be the Majority Party in name, such swindles have been carried out against nations worldwide.

There is no shortage of idiots out there who wear the image of dead revolutionaries, who embrace or espouse their flawed philosophies, who have been sucked in by the seductive ideas of getting something for nothing, and angrily blaming others for their own lack of success, fostered by an intentionally flawed educational system and molded by the carefully selected icons of 'pop culture', chosen, groomed, and promoted to lead them astray.

There are some things you simply can’t undo, some ledges you can’t pull back from. We’re teetering on one now. How can we, as a nation, get back to civility or even just get along again?

We can't.  Not unless we embrace the Communism/Statism/Marxism or the Nationalist Populism we are being rendered under.  "Civility" will require acquiescence to one or the other to have a tenuous 'coexistence'.  Groupthink is now demanded and those not in lockstep are sought to be punished.

Too many in our population have rejected our foundations and the vast majority of the rest do not give a crap about anything except making sure they get theirs at the expense of someone else.  Some say we are Two Americas no longer able to coexist.  I say we are actually maybe four Americas dividing the country - and they are all at parity with the majority uninterested in anything that happens outside their doors unless it affects their beer, internet and porn.

The culture that is fundamentally necessary to maintain liberty has been lost already.  Recapturing it requires a return to the foundational principles and morality that made liberty possible in the first place.  That is not going to happen.  Not even the churches are interested in a message of repentance and recapturing our religious heritage.   The vast, vast majority of our population, either HATE and REJECT those foundations, and/or see no practical use for them.  Politics has replaced the Gospel - and whether we will admit it or not - Government has replaced God in the minds of an effective majority.
