 Susan Collins: Using Children to Fix Immigration Law 'Not the Answer'

The Trump administration's zero tolerance policy of separating illegal immigrant families at the U.S-Mexico border is "traumatizing" children and "contrary to our values in this country,” Sen. Susan Collins said Sunday.

In an interview on CBS News’ “Face The Nation,” the Maine Republican said curbing illegal immigration can be accomplished in other ways.

"What the administration has decided to do is to separate children from their parents to try to send a message that if you cross the border with children, your children are going to be ripped away from you,” she said.

It doesn't seem to me the Administration is using the children to fix immigration, it's the rinos (such as Collins), democrats, and the media who are exploiting them to make Trump look bad.   They aren't  even interested in fixing the problem since Schumer won't agree to a solution with the few republicans in congress. :im waiting:
