What is Motrin?

Motrin (ibuprofen) is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Ibuprofen works by reducing hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body.

Motrin is used to reduce fever and treat pain or inflammation caused by many conditions such as headache, toothache, back pain, arthritis, menstrual cramps, or minor injury.

Motrin is used in adults and children who are at least 6 months old.

Unfortunately, not everyone can take Motrin.  I can't because I have kidney disease.  It's too bad because I also have gout, torn cartilage in both knees and arthritis.  NSAIDs like Motrin really relieve the pain and inflammation.

Oh well, I'm part German.  I can tough it out.  LOL

I once had prescription strength Motrin. If I were to become a drug addict...it would be to Motrin. It cured all my ills. I felt 17 again.

But have read how hard it is on the kidneys. So, like you, I just tough it out. Some days are better than others.
