American Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in El Paso Because of Hail Damage

An ordeal onboard an American Airlines flight finally ended out in the West Texas town of El Paso.

An American Airlines plane was forced to make an emergency landing Sunday night in El Paso, Texas, after a hailstorm damaged the windshield and some passengers got sick.

One of the pilots said they could barely see through the windshield as Flight 1897 flew into the storms in southern New Mexico before having to turn around.
