Most Media Did Not Report That Texas School Shooter Was an Atheist

The news media and the pundits are wading through another fog trying to figure out why the latest serial killer went on a rampage. As a sociologist who has written on this subject before, I can attest that serial killers have much in common, and this is especially true of young killers.

To begin with, let's dispense with a popular myth about the latest tragedy. Contrary to what most are saying, Dimitrios Pagourtzis, the killer who shot his victims at Sante Fe High School, did evince warning signs.

As police continue to gather evidence in the case of the foiled Halifax shooting plot, we're learning more about the suspects - and about their lives online in the shadowy subculture known as "Columbiners". These are people who are fascinated by Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, the two Columbine high school seniors who killed 13 people in a shooting rampage, and then killed themselves.

Cara-Jade is a 19 year-old blogger in the UK who considers herself a Columbiner, and who was in contact with two of the Halifax suspects through Tumblr. Her last name is being withheld to protect her identity. Journalist Dave Cullen spent ten years researching and writing the book Columbine and has been keeping tabs on this online subculture that romanticizes the Columbine killers.  Here are interviews with them both.

The leftist media is just as corrupt and biased now as it was back during the Castro/Guevara days.   They've been at this shtick so long (70 years?) that they have perfected it to an art-form.  One that, for some reason, we have allowed to endure.  Odd, since 'most' Americans are not leftist-leaning pro-communist dissidents.  But they rely on that 1st Amendment to get them where they're going.  Ironic, to say the least.
