LAKE TOWNSHIP - A Mexican national who has been deported from the United States four separate times and who served prison time for transporting marijuana and illegally re-entering the country was arrested following a traffic stop by the Ohio Highway Patrol.
The U.S. Border Patrol said Marcos Mendez-Rabelez admitted to its agents that he did not have proper documentation to remain in the country and was arrested around 9:15 a.m. Wednesday in Lake Township, just west of Ottawa County.
