I don't like it when wealthy people buy their way out of shared values or shared sacrifice.

Just because someone has the wealth to "buy carbon offsets for their private jets", "buy the silence of their victims", or "afford the best lawyers" does not make their behavior right.

Randy Andy sexually assaulted an underage girl, not an adult woman legally capable of consent.  That's what makes it a public matter, no different than the Catholic Church child sexual abuse scandals.

Persons and institutions of wealth and power have used a culture of silence prevent them from being held accountable for crimes against children, and other vulnerbale persons.

Rape of a minor is not a private matter, whether perpetrated by a member of NAMBLA or by a member the British Royal Family.

Then your beef is with the police and prosecutors who will not investigate.

This case was a civil lawsuit between private parties, and they are masters of their litigation.

rince Charles faces being interviewed by police over an alleged ‘cash for honours’ scandal, it emerged last night.

Scotland Yard has announced an inquiry into claims surrounding his once closest aide, Michael Fawcett.

The bombshell for the royals comes less than 24 hours after the abject humiliation of Prince Andrew having to pay to resolve a sexual abuse lawsuit.

The police probe follows a Mail on Sunday revelation that Mr Fawcett allegedly offered to help Saudi billionaire Mahfouz Marei Mubarak bin Mahfouz upgrade his honorary CBE to a knighthood – and support his application for British citizenship – in exchange for ‘generous’ donations to Charles’s charitable foundation.

Queen Elizabeth II tests positive for COVID-19

Queen Elizabeth II has tested positive for COVID-19, Buckingham Palace announced Sunday.

In a statement, the palace said the 95-year-old British monarch is experiencing “mild cold-like symptoms” and will continue with “light duties.”

She will continue to receive medical attention and will follow all the appropriate guidelines,” the read the statement.

The queen was inoculated against the virus in early 2021, and has since received a booster dose. 

The news comes after her eldest son Prince Charles earlier this month tested positive for the coronavirus for the second time; her daughter-in-law Camilla, Duchess of Cornwalltime; contracted COVID-19 four days later.

The sovereign was then closely “monitored” after she came in contact with her son days before his COVID-19 diagnosis, before it was reported she’d be returning to work after negative tests.

Prince Andrew reportedly mocked by palace insiders with nursery rhyme

Buckingham Palace aides have reportedly reworded a nursery rhyme to mock Prince Andrew over his roughly $12 million settlement with former Jeffrey Epstein sex slave Virginia Roberts Giuffre.

“The grand old Duke of York, he had 12 million quid. He gave it to someone he’d never met, for something he never did,” the new spin on the nursery rhyme goes, insiders told the Sunday Times.

Queen Elizabeth II has permanently quit living in Buckingham Palace, according to a report.

“She has her memories with Prince Philip there, she has her ponies there and family nearby. It makes sense.”

The decision comes after a series of health scares for the Queen, who on Monday met Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at Windsor Castle — in her first in-person engagement since falling ill with COVID-19.

In October, she also spent a night in the hospital for an unspecified ailment, scaling back her official duties and resting afterward on doctors’ orders.

The decision was based partly on an ongoing “reservicing” of the palace — but also Elizabeth’s preference for the castle, where she spent her last days with late husband Prince Philip, sources told the paper.

“Windsor is the place she loves,” one of her acquaintances, royal author and deputy lord lieutenant of Berkshire Hugo Vickers, told the UK Times.

These last few years must have been wearying for her, between Philip's decline and death, and Harry's asshattery.

It is sad that her last remaining years have been filled with so much turmoil, but she's had a very long reign with many better years behind her.

Queen pulls out of attending Commonwealth Service

This is usually a significant occasion for the Queen and earlier in the week it had been hoped she would attend.

The decision is understood to be about concerns over her discomfort with travelling, rather than illness.

Prince Harry is also now not expected to come to the UK for a service of thanksgiving for Prince Philip, to be held later this month.

The message from Buckingham Palace does not mention the health of the 95-year-old Queen, but says not attending the Commonwealth Service on Monday was decided "after discussing arrangements with the Royal Household".

It is understood not to be related to an illness - but there have been concerns about the Queen's ability to travel and her mobility......

On Friday Prince Harry and Meghan Markle joined a celebrity and world leader call to warn the world that supposedly the “pandemic is not over” as the world enters the third year of living with coronavirus.

The disgraced prince and his controversial wife have added their signatures to a letter from ‘The People’s Vaccine’ – a coronavirus vaccine lobby group – that has called for 70 per cent of the world to be vaccinated by mid-2022, and for vaccines to be provided “to everyone, everywhere”.

The organisation openly states in the letter that they condemn the approach taken so far by world leaders in an effort to tackle coronavirus as “immoral, entirely self-defeating and also an ethical, economic and epidemiological failure”, and instead called for “global solidarity”.

The People’s Vaccine have also highlighted they believe what they call a “failure to vaccinate the world so far is down to self-defeating nationalism, pharmaceutical monopolies and inequality”, which they suggest has unnecessarily prolonged the pandemic.
