Meghan Markle and Prince Harry won't return to Royal Family - Queen strips titles

Quote

Meghan and Prince Harry have effectively put an end to speculation about their future role in the Royal Family by announcing to the Queen they have no intention to return to royal duties at the end of the Megxit 12-month review period. As a result, the Queen took the decision to sever the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's links to their royal and military patronages.

A statement issued by Buckingham Palace today read: "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have confirmed to Her Majesty The Queen that they will not be returning as working members of The Royal Family.

"Following conversations with The Duke, The Queen has written confirming that in stepping away from the work of The Royal Family it is not possible to continue with the responsibilities and duties that come with a life of public service.

"The honorary military appointments and Royal patronages held by The Duke and Duchess will therefore be returned to Her Majesty, before being redistributed among working members of The Royal Family."

It seems like those two attention whores make some sort of announcement every two months, just to see their names in the news. Will Harry bother to return to England when his grandfather passes, I wonder?

Unless Meghan is in labor, I would think so. It also depends if private US  citizens would be allowed entry into the UK regarding quarantine

I just came across this news article.

Prince Harry ‘isolating to prepare for UK visit’ as Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, taken to hospital
Natalie Richards and PA
The West Australian
Thu, 18 February 2021 7:38PM

Prince Harry is reportedly isolating in the US in preparation for an emergency trip to see his ailing grandfather Prince Philip.

Harry is said to be preparing to fly to the UK in a bid to see his 99-year-old grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh, who is being treated for a mystery illness in hospital.

British tabloid The Mirror reports Harry is self-isolating in his Californian mansion so he can fly to Britain at a moment’s notice if his condition worsens. ...

I know 97 is a good long run, but this will break HRH Elizabeth II’s heart. Her parents and Princess Margaret are gone now, all she’ll have are her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren.
It’s nice, but not the same thing.

@mountaineer

Well,to be fair, there is ONE attention whore in the family, and it ain't Harry. Somehow or another, she managed to "whup him" and now keeps his testicles in a box and only allows him access if he has been a good boy.

Makes no sense to me. You KNOW that growing up as a Prince in the English Royal Family in England meant he had females trying to jump his bones before he even got out of diapers. Plus he is a good-looking guy in good physical condition. There is no way in HELL he had trouble getting laid.

Yeah, she IS pretty and smart, but NOBODY is THAT pretty and smart. I can only guess that he has a "dark meat kink",but she isn't even very dark. Could pass for a Snow Bunny if she wanted, with the right makeup.

Like the chorus of a 50's rock and roll song stated,"Love is Strange". It is a disease we are all susceptible to,and it strikes without warning. Kinda like cancer, but a longer, more slow-motion death.

Women have been using men and playing them since the start of time, and vice versa.

Look at Cleopatra. Supposedly she was quite plain, but she did play both Marc Anthony and Octavian like a fiddle, didn’t she?

One of my gully little pleasures is watching “Deadly Women” on ID Discovery and “Snapped” on Oxygen. I can’t get over the women who can get a guy to murder for them. What?!?

I couldn’t even get any of my boyfriends except one to take out the trash to the dumpster!

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank reveal name and photo of newborn son

Quote

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank have named their son August Philip Hawke Brooksbank.

Buckingham Palace has released an image of the couple with their baby boy, who was born at the exclusive Portland Hospital in central London at 8.55am on 9 February.

In the picture, the child - the Queen's ninth great-grandchild - is wrapped in blue while being held by his father and clutching his mother's finger.

The baby has two attractive parents so he should grow up to be quite handsome.

I don’t know which name the baby will go by. I like Philip better than August. And his great grandpa is 99 years old.

Cute baby picture --- Maybe name him Phillip and use August for a middle name?

I understand that royal babies are given several names, and they choose one of them when they become king or queen. I don’t know if this was always the case, but the Queen’s dad Albert, became George VI. So this may be a newish thing, about 100 years old.

Prince Charles, who as Prince of Wales and second in line, has four names. Charles Philip Arthur George.

People assume incorrectly, if he should become king, he will be King Charles III. That’s not the case. He’s publicly stated he would take the name King George  VII.

King Charles the first was beheaded by Oliver Cromwell, which I think leaves a bad taste for future Charles’. And Charles the Second was very popular with his people, but I still think it must have been horrible to grow up knowing daddy had his head chopped off.

(Personally I think he should go with Arthur, that would be very, very cool)

 ***cool cat***

I also think he wants to be George to honor his grandfather.

Prince William Angered by Meghan and Harry’s ‘Insulting, Disrespectful, and Petulant’ Attitude to Queen

Jack Montgomery21 Feb 2021138
2:37

Prince William is said to be “shocked” and saddened by the “insulting, disrespectful, and petulant” attitude of brother Harry and his wife Meghan to their grandmother, the Queen, following ‘Megxit’.

William, second in line to the throne after the brothers’ father, 72-year-old Prince Charles, was reported to be “really sad and genuinely shocked” by the reaction of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Harry and Meghan, to the Queen announcing their royal patronages and Harry’s honorary military titles would be withdrawn.

This decision came as a result of the couple’s decision to abandon their public duties as “working royals” in favour of pursuing money-making ventures and woke activism, as well as flirting with U.S. politics.

“The Queen has written confirming that in stepping away from the work of the Royal Family it is not possible to continue with the responsibilities and duties that come with a life of public service,” a statement from Buckingham Palace had confirmed.

“While all are saddened by their decision, the Duke and Duchess remain much-loved members of the family.”

Methinks the Queen knew Meghan's real intentions from the start.  The Daily Mail included a telling photo in their report on this newest twist in this saga.  It's a photo I've not seen before and it speaks volumes.

It's also a Getty pic, so I can't post, but click on the link for the picture, then click on the picture itself to increase the size.  The Queen looks rather sad.  https://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2021/02/19/22/39506474-9280035-RICHARD_KAY_By_choosing_to_sit_down_with_Oprah_Winfrey_Harry_and-a-44_1613773089476.jpg
