Scotland Yard officers guarding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's have said they are treated 'like skivvies' and forced to do 'menial tasks' like picking up takeaways and groceries, it has been claimed.

Highly-trained protection staff have also allegedly been seen buying food from an organic delicatessen, a favourite of Meghan's, and picking up coffees from fast food outlet Tim Hortons.

A team of 15 guards has been flown to guard the couple and their nine-month-old son Archie at their secluded Canadian bolthole, after they stood back from royal duties.

The Duke and Duchess's security is estimated to cost taxpayers in Canada and the UK between £3million and £6million a year, as staff work round the clock two weeks at a time.   ...

U.K. cities refuse to fly flags for royal pariah Prince Andrew’s birthday

Traditionally, town halls fly the British flag to celebrate royal birthdays, but many responded to the reminder email with indignation.

“We’re not flying the flag,” a Liverpool Council spokesperson told CNN. The city’s mayor, Joe Anderson, added that it “wouldn’t be appropriate” to mark Andrew’s 60th birthday on Feb. 19.

Princess Beatrice's wedding to Eduardo Mapelli Mozzi will take place on 29 May, Buckingham Palace has announced.

They will be married at the Chapel Royal at St James Palace, with a reception later at Buckingham Palace.

The Queen will host the private reception in the palace gardens.

Beatrice, the 31-year-old daughter of the Duke of York and the Duchess of York, became engaged to her property tycoon boyfriend in Italy last September.

Buckingham Palace says that the choice of the Chapel Royal, a family chapel adjacent to the home of Princess Beatrice, is an indication of the scale and nature of the wedding.

Don't forget,she grew up seeing the disrespect given to her mother by the Royal Family,and she was most likely treated like some sort of "hillbilly cousins" by her relatives on her father's side of the family.

I think you are correct; Princess Charlotte is going to look a lot like her mom.  She certainly has captured the media's attention; she has a bit of a spark to her personality and a mind of her own.

There was a picture of Kate (I forgot her title) feeding a baby goat or cow the other day, and then going to a kindergarten. You could tell she really likes children.

They also had some posts of Prince William giving awards from the Honours list, and again, he seemed so nice and compassionate in the photos. I think they will make a good King and Queen when their time comes.

Agreed.  Both William and Kate are very comfortable in their current roles and will make an easy transition to King William and Queen Katherine.  They will add their own modern flair to the role but also keeping well within tradition. Kate exudes beauty and grace and it comes very naturally and William also exhibits natural charisma. He will continue the dignity of his lineage and Kate will serve her position well by his side. Not so fast though, Charles is still in line after the Queen retires.

I believe that both Markle and Harry were very envious of the two when they didn't get the recognition and status after Archie was born and that is what prompted them to leave.  They know that they will never achieve the status that they felt they deserved in England and decided to leave in order to achieve the status and recognition that they felt that they deserved.  I believe Markle thought that's what she signed up for when she married Harry and soon found out that wasn't the case.
