Except Jean Shepard and Bob and Ray. And Bob Grant too. I’ll throw him in because he was the first talk radio guy I ever listened to. I do miss WOR with Jean Shepard and Bob and Ray, and Rambling with Gambling giving out snow closings when I was a kid. And in the 40s you had cigarette girls in cafes and bars. Long, leggy women. Sigh, the bane of my existence. I was born petite with short legs. I couldn’t be a Rockette.
